77Se - 77Se in a spider toxin
Example of heteronuclear 2D correlation spectroscopy: 77Se - 77Se in a spider toxin

Located in the Gehrmann Laboratories (Building 60), the Bruker Avance 500 MHz high-resolution NMR spectrometer is used in research applications ranging across the chemical, physical and biological sciences. It is interfaced to an 11.7 Tesla 51 mm bore magnet system. The spectrometer has a multinuclear capability for observation of a wide range of NMR isotopes including 119Sn, 77Se, 29Si, 31P.

Capabilities include:

• Avance III HD console (3 channels)
• Magnet: 11.47 Tesla
• BBFO smart probe – 19F
• Multinuclear NMR: 119Sn, 77Se, 29Si, 31P,  27AI
• Variable temperature, low and high extended range, etc
• Research applications include small molecules, natural products, biological compounds and material science
