CAI has won the prize for the lab that reduced its fume cupboard sash heights the most in the UQ Shut your Sash Competition. Reducing sash heights by 96% over the 3 week competition resulted in an energy saving of up to $2,416 and a GHG Emissions Saving of 17.79 tCO2. The Centre has won $10,000 to implement an energy saving project/s within CAI for 2015. See the UQ news article for more information on the competition.
