Irene is the Centre Manager for the ARC funded Training Centre for Innovation in Biomedical Imaging Technology (CIBIT). She is responsible for leading and managing the CIBIT operations as well as building and maintaining effective and productive interaction with CIBIT’s industry and other external partners. Irene has worked in various industries, including mining and geology research, health and medical research, information technology, project management training and consultancy. Her expertise includes program and project management, contracts management, research administration, international business development, stakeholder relations, process analysis and implementation, financial management and reporting. Irene holds a master’s degree in International and European Laws and Economics from Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
