CAI Postgraduate Welcome Session

Welcome, all new postgraduate students!

As part of UQ Science Orientation Day, please join us on Friday, 21 February for the Science Expo, CAI Welcome Mixer and social BBQ dinner at our beautiful St Lucia campus. 

1 pm - 4 pm: Science Expo
Venue:
UQ Centre (Building 27A)

Details: Drop-in to find out about the different science schools and disciplines, receive enrolment and timetabling support, meet the Science Student Leaders, chat with a lecturer in your field, join a student club or society, and find out about the support services and extra-curricular opportunities available. Find the Centre for Advanced Imaging (CAI) booth to meet our team!

Our friendly education team, students and Course Coordinators will be ready to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

4 pm - 5 pm: CAI Postgraduate Welcome Mixer
Venue:
Level 2 Seminar Room, Centre for Advanced Imaging (Building 57)
Canapés (and lots of fun) provided!

Details: 
Come along to our Centre and mingle with fellow postgraduate students, your awesome student association (STAC) and the education team. We can't wait to meet you! *This session is compulsory for internal students in MR-PET, Magnetic Resonance Technology and Molecular Imaging Technology. 5 pm - 6 pm: Mature and Postgraduate Science Student Dinner
Venue:
Natural Amphitheatre 
Details: This is a social BBQ dinner with the opportunity to meet your fellow postgraduate and/or mature (23 years +) students, academics in your field, and mature Science Student Leaders.
