Study Molecular Imaging Technology

Why Choose Us?

UQ is one of the top 100 universities in the world. The Centre for Advanced Imaging is the largest MR facility in the southern hemisphere with 12 imaging and spectroscopy systems ranging from 1.5 to 21 Tesla.

Molecular imaging is a form of biomedical imaging, which is rapidly growing in importance in the applied life sciences, and contributes in the advancement of biomedicines. The Centre for Advanced Imaging currently offers two molecular imaging programs: the Master of Molecular Imaging Technology and Graduate Certificate in MR-PET.

What our students say:

Master of Molecular Imaging Technology

Molecular imaging is a form of biomedical imaging, which is rapidly growing in importance in the applied life sciences, and contributes in the advancement of biomedicines. The Centre for Advanced Imaging is one of the most comprehensive imaging facilities in the world with cutting-edge molecular imaging facilities and leading researchers in the field. The program is delivered in both distance education and on-campus modes.

The Master of Molecular Imaging Technology aims at forming international leaders in molecular imaging. This program is especially designed for chemists, biologists, physicists, computer scientists, engineers, radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge of this new biomedical imaging approach.
