Join us 9.30 AM Tuesday 24 August for the CAI Seminar Series with Dr Sue Lawrence, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Mater Mothers' Hospital, presenting:
Investigation of lumbar interspinous ligaments
Doctors may recommend an epidural as part of an anaesthetic or as pain relief. Most epidurals are placed using anatomical understanding and real time haptic feedback from the inserted needle.
This presentation will discuss our work in defining a population in which epidurals are difficult to perform and the current understanding of the relevant anatomy. We will also present future research proposals and the relevance to clinical practice.
This seminar will feature work from UQ’s HDR Student Publication Competition – Round 1 2021.
Each talk will be followed by a Q&A session via Zoom. Please feel free to bring along your questions during the webinar.
