A new parcel of funding from the Australian Research Council (ARC) will establish a cutting-edge national network for magnetic resonance spectroscopy – and the AIBN’s Centre for Advanced Imaging is set to play a central role.

The Centre for Advanced Imaging (CAI) has launched an Australian-first facility that will use radiometals for cancer therapy.

For the fifth year, Kingaroy State High School’s Year 10 advanced science students visited the Centre for Advanced Imaging for 2 ½ days of immersive, hands-on imaging science.

'A Promise to Peter' is a book of poems written by Peter Jones (1951 - 2009) who was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The book was compiled and published by Peter's sister, Diane Carpenter, who is giving all book sale proceeds to fund brain cancer research led by the UQ CAI and AIBN Thurecht Group.
