Dr Rod Straw is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Queensland. He is also the Director of the Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre (BVSC) and Executive Director of the Australian Animal Cancer Foundation. Dr Straw is a specialist in Small Animal Surgery (Surgical Oncology) and the Founder of Australia’s comprehensive cancer centre with the Southern Hemisphere’s first Linear Accelerator dedicated to treating animals with cancer using high energy external beam radiation.

Dr Straw and BVSC are a CAI partner in the Comparative Oncology Program.
